In 2022, Karl Mortier began training with Robert Dilts, the founder of the third generation of NLP, Neurolinguistic Programming. There, Karl earned his certification as a Certified Global Trainer and Consultant in NLP. This allowed Karl to distinguish himself by training people as NLP Practitioners and Master Practitioners. To achieve this, Karl partnered with the Brain Pirates.

Brain Pirates are committed to making scientific knowledge about the brain as accessible as possible to everyone, young and old. This translates into offering training courses based on NLP insights for both practitioners and master practitioners. In collaboration with Brain Pirate Steff, an online training course for Visual Practitioners is being developed and offered.

After the NLP Practitioner course, Karl further explores the power of NLP with the Brain Pirates: Hans, Koen, and Steff. In his final project, he connects the Insights Discovery model with various NLP insights. As the icing on the cake, he combines visualization and NLP.

October 1st marks exactly 25 years since Karl Mortier took his first steps at what was then the Ieper Training Institute. A quarter of a century later, Karl looks back fondly on this collaboration.

The Safe Leadership concept is launched in collaboration with Koen Callaert. A series of podcasts supplemented with tools to integrate Safe Leadership into organizations.

The office and studio are moving to Fochlaan 28 in Ypres. The coaching practice can also now be found in the service center near Ypres station.

Under the motto of lifelong learning, Karl Mortier obtained his NLP Practitioner certification from Ubeon (Brain Pirates). He immediately decided to also pursue the NLP Master Practitioner program.

The Hybrid Hub concept is being presented in collaboration with C9 International. Training courses, meetings, corporate films, and interviews can be recorded or broadcast live from two studios in Flanders (Boom and Ypres).

Karl, along with a group of eight people from seven different countries, facilitates a large-scale online meeting for Visual Practitioners. More than 120 people from 25 European countries attend the conference, which utilizes the latest online meeting technology. With the help of Telenet, this conference is broadcast globally over FibreNet in just three days.

The coronavirus crisis hits hard. Karl Mortier continues his work online. His approach becomes a benchmark for many colleagues in the field. Together with Rudy Begas, he develops guidelines for a hybrid work environment as a trainer. This approach is being adopted as far away as China.

Karl Mortier joins the helm of European Visual Practitioners.

At the founders of Visualization, Karl completes an interesting training that strengthens his baggage as a visual facilitator.

A long-standing connection with Tim Belon is cemented in a business partnership. Karl will enhance C9's offering with a visual touch.

Under the expert guidance of Siegrief De Cuyper, the Insigts Discovery certificate is obtained. Following the MBTI model, this is the second Jungian model in the portfolio.

At Bikablo in Cologne, Karl is following the training to become a Visual Facilitator based on the Bikablo methodology.

At the initiative of Syntra West and Syntra Flanders, Karl, as an ambassador of new learning methods, is representing Flanders in the Erasmus program in Finland. Karl is promoting visualization as a learning method internationally.

At the HRD Academy, Karl Mortier is training to become a certified Stress and Burnout coach. The focus of the training is on understanding and coping with stress and burnout.

At Chris Griffiths, Karl Mortier officially earns his Open Genius in Applied Innovation certification. A toolbox for innovative thinking and action enhances Karl Mortier's offerings.

A milestone in visual thinking. Karl received his official Mind Mapper certification from Tony Buzan in Henley-on-Thames. The beginning of a long visual adventure.

Together with several colleagues from Quattro Development and SKAN Performance Management, the MBTI certificate is obtained. This is a Jungian personality model.

After an intense process, Karl Mortier obtained his first official coaching certificate from IVC, the Institute for Communication.

Karl receives his first certification as a Creative Facilitator at the Center for Developing Creative Thinking. e

On Monday, October 1, 2007, Karl began working full-time as an independent contractor in partnership with PMO. Karl facilitated a program for job seekers in Roeselare that focused on coaching, training, and workplace learning.
