In 2022, Karl Mortier will be apprenticed to Robert Dilts, the founder of the third generation of NLP, Neurolinguistic Programming. Karl obtains his certificate as a certified Global Trainer and Consultant in NLP. This allows Karl to distinguish himself to train people as NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner. For this, Karl teams up with the Brain Pirates.

Brain pirates take on the task of making scientific knowledge about the brain accessible to everyone, from young to old, in the most accessible way possible.

After the NLP practitioner, Karl further explores the power of NLP with the Brain Pirates: Hans, Koen and Steff. In the thesis, the Insights Discovery model connects with various NLP insights.

Karl Mortier and Ubeon join forces.

On 1 October it will be exactly 25 years since Karl Mortier took his first steps at what was then the Ypres Training Institute. A quarter of a century later, Karl looks back fondly on this collaboration.

Together with Koen Callaert, the Safe Leadership concept is launched. A series of podcasts supplemented with tools to integrate Safe Leadership in organizations.

The office and studio move to Fochlaan 28 in Ypres. You can also find the coaching practice in the service center near Ypres station from now on.

Under the motto of lifelong learning, Karl Mortier obtains the certificate of NLP Practitioner at Ubeon (Breinpiraten). It is immediately decided to also start the NLP Master Practitioner.

The Hybrid Hub concept is presented together with C9 International. From 2 studios in Flanders (Boom and Ypres), training courses, meetings, company films, interviews can be recorded or broadcast live.

Together with a group of 8 people from 7 different countries, Karl facilitates a large-scale online meeting for Visual Practitioners. More than 120 people from 25 European countries attend the conference, which uses the latest online meeting technology. With the help of Telenet, this conference will be sent to the world via FiberNet in 3 days.

The corona crisis strikes. Karl Mortier continues his activity in an online context. His approach becomes a benchmark for many colleagues in the field. Together with Rudy Begas, he writes down some guidelines for a Hybrid working environment as a trainer. The line-up is picked up as far as China.

Karl Mortier joins the helm of European Visual Practitioners.

At the founders of Visualization, Karl is completing an interesting education that strengthens his baggage as a visual facilitator.

A long-standing connection with Tim Belon is recorded in a business partnership. Karl will enhance C9's offering with a visual touch.

Under the expert guidance of Siegrief De Cuyper, the Insigts Discovery certificate is obtained. After the MBTI model, a second Jungian model in the portfolio.

At Bikablo in Cologne, Karl is training to become a Visual Facilitator based on the Bikablo methodology.

At the initiative of Syntra West and Syntra Flanders, Karl is allowed to represent Flanders in the Erasmus program in Finland as an ambassador for new learning methods. Visualization as a learning method is put on the international map by Karl.

At HRD Academy, Karl Mortier is training to become a recognized Stress and Burn-Out coach. Insights into and coping with Stress and Burn-Out are the accents of the training.

Karl Mortier obtains his official certificate as Open Genius in Applied Innovation at Chris Griffiths. A toolbox for innovative thinking and acting strengthens Karl Mortier's offer.

A milestone in visual thinking. At Tony Buzan, in Henley-on-Thames, Karl gets his official certificate as a Mind Mapper. The start of a long visual adventure.

After an intense process, Karl Mortier obtains his first official coaching certificate at IVC, Institute for Communication.

Karl earns his first certification as a Creative Facilitator at the Center for the Development of Creative Thinking. e

On Monday, October 1, 2007, Karl will start full-time as an independent entrepreneur in partnership with PMO. A trajectory for jobseekers in which coaching, training and workplace learning are central, is supervised by Karl in Roeselare.
