Training creativity with visual toolbox

Creativity and technique may not seem to go hand in hand at first glance. But at Infrabel, we have seen that this is not only possible, but can also be very beneficial.

In collaboration with SKAN Performance Management, Infrabel organized a practical training in creativity. This training focused on the importance of creativity as an essential skill in the 21st century, developing creative skills, creating a creative work environment, the impact of management on creativity, and the application of the creative process to concrete cases.

It is important to emphasize that creativity is not only about coming up with new ideas, but also about solving problems in innovative ways. In a technical environment, this can mean finding new approaches to existing challenges, improving processes, or developing new technologies.

This training was provided by Karl Mortier Visual Storyteller. Karl has built the training completely visually, which is a powerful way to communicate and understand complex ideas and processes. The use of visualizations helped participants better understand and remember the concepts and techniques presented in the training.

The participants received a toolbox full of inspiration and techniques that they could immediately apply in their work. They experienced the power of creativity and how it can be used to improve their daily work. In addition, work was done on a concrete action plan at individual, team and organizational level, to ensure that the skills and techniques learned would also be applied after the training.
